God -- loving and powerful?

If God is both loving and powerful, it doesn't much look like it at the moment.

This week, Bishop Richard reflects further on the awful news from Ukraine, but asserts that 'if God were not in some way active in providence, the world would be a lot ghastlier than it is.... I do think the Scriptures point to a God who is relentlessly pushing forward the Kingdom agenda in the power of love rather than the love of power.  I believe as we read the end of the story in the book of Revelation, there will be a good outcome.'
