New benefice name!

Following consultation, it has been decided to change the name of the group of ecclesiastical parishes currently known as "St Weonards" to "Archenfield" -- an ancient name for this area of southwestern Herefordshire.  Bishop Richard has recently signed a Pastoral Order in accordance with the Mission and Pastoral Measure 2011 bringing this name change into effect from 1 July 2025.

We're currently building a new, user-friendly website for the Archenfield benefice, due to launch this autumn.
