We are people of hope

14 Apr 2022 • From Bishop Richard Jackson

How is our mood today?  In practice, we know it often fluctuates according to the latest news from our families, friends, communities, or the world around us.  The Church too has its problems.  Like the Easter story, our own journeys to resurrection progress through little crosses.  Yet Christians are (or should be) always people of hope -- hope that transcends circumstances.

Bishop Richard asks of each of us: 'What do we need to let go of personally and corporately so we may make the Easter journey from death to life?  Jesus asks us simply, “Do you love me?”  For a fruitful future – that is enough.'
