Lead us not into temptation ...

In this week's video, Bishop Richard explores the next line in the Lord's prayer, "Lead us not into temptation."  He suggests that we're most vulnerable to temptation when we are hungry, angry, lonely, or tired.

'Jesus in the wilderness after his baptism resists temptation and, in that struggle, the power of the Holy Spirit within him grows in strength....  If we are to be more like Jesus, we need all of the classic spiritual disciplines like prayer, worship, Bible study, fasting, silence.... But we also need the challenge of spiritual exercise as well.  Resisting temptation and contending for holiness is precisely that sort of exercise.'
